Antaris is delighted to announce that we are working with The Marine Survey Office to review and where appropriate, update its health and safety risk assessments (including COVID risk assessments), associated with its surveyor field activities.
The Marine Survey Office (MSO) operates under the auspices of the Department of Transport and is responsible for the implementation of all national and international legislation in relation to the safety of shipping and the prevention of pollution of the marine environment from ship-based sources.
MSO personnel consist mainly of marine surveyors drawn from backgrounds that ensure expertise in the different professional disciplines of:
- Nautical/navigation
- Engineering
- Naval architecture
- Radio
- Oil spill pollution
As part of the project, Antaris will also review the office’s overall health and safety management system documentation.
