Bios:

John Finn: Managing Director of Treasury Solutions Limited

John is MD at Managing Director of Treasury Solutions Limited, a Cork-based Treasury Risk and Corporate Finance Management practice. Having obtained an honours B. Comm. from UCD in 1985, John Finn qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989 and was made a Fellow of that Institute in 1999. He is also a member of the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers and is a Past President of that association. Finally, he passed his membership examinations of the UK Association of Corporate Treasurers in 1993 and was elected a Fellow of that Association in 2003. In total, he has almost 30 years’ experience in Treasury and Financial Management, working for a number of companies including a US multinational and a UK plc.

Treasury Solutions was launched in 2001 to provide a niche treasury and corporate finance service to companies that do not have full-time professional treasurers but recognise the need to improve the quality of their risk management and corporate funding.

Ciara Egan: Sustainability Consultant at Antaris Consulting

Ciara is a Sustainability Consultant and Project Manager with 7 years of experience collaborating with clients from a variety of industries to develop sustainability strategies and action plans, implement change and engage key stakeholders. Experienced in creating sustainability strategies that are tailored to organisations, Ciara’s technical expertise includes conducting double materiality assessments, mapping organisations to the Sustainable Development Goals, researching industry best practices and aligning strategies with regulation to set ambitious organisation goals.

Working both in Ireland and abroad, Ciara has worked on change management projects which brings a people-centric approach to sustainability activities and projects. She has experience running employee engagement programmes, delivering workshops and developing jargon-free sustainability communications to ensure everyone in the organisation understands the importance of sustainability. Ciara holds a MSc. in Co-operatives, Agri-Food and Sustainable Development from University College Cork, a certificate in Corporate Sustainability from Stern Business School, NYU, and is a Certified Associate of Project Management.

Geoff Dooley: Head of Sustainability Services at Antaris Consulting

Together with the sustainability services team at Antaris Consulting, Geoff supports a diversity of clients in developing strategies aligned with the rapidly evolving ESG regulatory system, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, EU Taxonomy and the Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation. With a track record of working in complex and ambiguous environments, Geoff combines his experience and intuition to help leaders and their organisations navigate a sustainable path forward in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Most recently, he facilitated the development of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Impacts and Adaptation Strategy and is the 2023 chair of the Sustainable Development Goals National Stakeholder Forum.

Geoff holds a primary degree in Environmental Science, an MBA, an MSc in Finance, a Level 9 Diploma in Executive Coaching, and a Certificate in Company Direction. He is a Nuffield Scholar and a member of the Institute of Directors.
