Senior EHS Consultant

Antaris Consulting is seeking a Senior EHS Consultant, with significant consulting experience and private-sector client relationships, to play a key role in growing the environment, health and safety
(EH&S) segment of our business in Ireland and the UK. The successful candidate will be placed full
time with one of our clients in the greater Dublin area. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of EHS
technical capability and deep understanding of business processes to help our clients proactively
address their EHS risks and challenges.


    • Provide consultancy and project support to companies in Ireland and the UK
    • Implementation, maintenance and improvement of ISO 45001 safety management system and ISO 14001 Environmental management systems
    • Identifying hazards and conducting risk assessments
    • Assisting the company to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
    • Conducting audits and inspections
    • Developing procedures/process maps/work instructions for compliance with the operational control requirements of the standards
    • Assisting with the identification of training and awareness requirements
    • Developing and delivering various training courses to professional qualification level
    • Developing improvement programmes and assisting in the identification of appropriate continual improvement objectives and targets
    • Reviewing document control and records management
    • Assisting with the management review of the management systems
    • Manage multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables
    • Effectively manage and build client relationships leading to repeat business
    • Knowledge of quality management systems would be beneficial
    • Subject to experience the successful candidates will be involved in the delivery of legislative compliance services in other jurisdictions


Personal Attributes/previous experience in an EHS role – industry or consultancy

    • Strong working knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety Legislation and Guidance Documents
    • Analysis and problem solving skills
    • Planning, organising and work management skills
    • Achievement oriented
    • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or equivalent)
    • Proficiency in another language would be desirable


  • 3rd level or equivalent Environment, Health & Safety or Chemistry qualification
  • Professional membership of IOSH/IEMA ideally
