Antaris, in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland, is now a service provider of a range of green, environmental services under three programme initiatives, helping Irish companies compete and grow global investment as a greener future accelerates, as well as comply with regulations and build a more credible profile.
See below the three programmes you can avail of with Enterprise Ireland, with the option of selecting Antaris as your service provider.
GreenStart
Aimed at SMEs and large companies that are Enterprise Ireland clients, the aim of the GreenStart assignment is to improve environmental performance through greater resource efficiency helping companies achieve competitive advantage and greater market share through enhanced credentials and cost savings.
The maximum grant funding available from Enterprise Ireland is €5,000. However, if the cost of the GreenStart assignment is less than €6,300 the company is still required to pay the first €1,300 in costs.
Antaris can deliver a range of eligible services under this programme including:
- Guidance with basic Environmental Management System based on ‘Plan, Do, Check, Act’ continuous improvement philosophy.
- Guidance with developing a corporate sustainable strategy and aligning to national/international frameworks e.g. Origin Green, UN Environmental SDGs, CDP.
- Guidance with Life Cycle Assessment.
- Guidance with Circular Economy thinking and transition to circular economy business models.
Eligibility
Companies can apply for grant support towards the cost of hiring a Green consultant/trainer to undertake a short in-company assignment.
Eligible expenditure is limited to the cost of hiring an Environmental consultant/trainer for a maximum of 7 days, with a maximum daily fee payable to a consultant/trainer at €900 (including expenses).
How to apply
All applications for funding should be discussed with your Enterprise Ireland Adviser prior to submission.
You can apply via the Enterprise Ireland Online Application System, and follow the step-by-step guide.
Antaris asks you to refer to Enterprise Ireland’s site here, to gain further insight into the specificities that apply to you, as the client.
GreenPlus
Similar to GreenStart, but aimed at medium-sized projects, the GreenPlus project is open to SMEs and large companies that are Enterprise Ireland clients and aims to aid companies in developing a high level of environmental management capabilities, drive environmental efficiencies and achieve improved sustainability by establishing and embedding continuous improvement systems and behaviours.
The projects under this programme are larger, and the grant available is higher, as the grant can also be used to cover part of the salary cost for up to 10 company green project team members over the project duration. This is because the team is one that supports the implementation and transition, so their presence and activities are considered important to achieve the planned environmental success and improvement.
For more information including eligible activities, download GreenPlus Assignment Guidelines.
Under a GreenPlus programme, Antaris can help you as our client in a training or advisory capacity, whilst Enterprise Ireland will provide grant funding for 50% of the eligible project costs up to a maximum of €100,000 (€50,000 grant).
